After retiring as Gloucester’s first female police officer, I published my book, "The Truth Behind the Badge," in October 2018. The book was my way of sharing the untold stories and challenges of a career in policing, providing insight to those interested in the field. My transition from a demanding career to crafting was driven by a need for a creative outlet. Crafting quickly became my sanctuary—a way to escape, immerse myself in creativity, and leave behind the stresses of my former life.

Crafting soon became more than just a hobby; it turned into a way to connect with others through my unique creations. I sell my crafts locally and through word of mouth, enjoying the opportunity to share my passion without the pressures of running a full-fledged business.
